Pantora ("Pantora", "we", "us") is operated by Emmanouil Pantouvakis, Heraklion, Crete, Greece (postal code 71500). Contact: support@pantora.app, phone +1 (787) 476-3102. By creating an account or using Pantora you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Pantora.
Pantora is for adults aged 18 or older. By using Pantora you confirm that you are at least 18. We ask for your date of birth at sign-up, and we may suspend or delete any account we believe belongs to a minor.
Pantora is an entertainment game. You use virtual "coins" to make predictions about the outcome of real-world events (such as sports, crypto prices, weather, and public events) for fun and to compete on leaderboards. Pantora is NOT gambling, NOT a betting or wagering service, NOT a financial or investment product, and NOT a prediction market that pays money. No prediction you make can win you real money, prizes, or anything of monetary value. Nothing in Pantora is financial, investment, or betting advice.
Event data: the events, questions, odds, prices, and results shown in Pantora are compiled from third-party data sources. They reflect real events but are provided for entertainment only; we do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timing, and we decide in good faith how each market is settled.
Simulated activity: to keep predictions active and balanced, some accounts and some voting activity in Pantora are generated automatically by the system ("simulated players"). Simulated players use only virtual coins, are excluded from the global leaderboards, and never receive anything of value. The activity and probabilities you see in a prediction may include simulated activity.
Coins are a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use a feature of the game. Coins: (a) have NO monetary value; (b) are NOT your property, money, credit, or a balance owed to you; (c) CANNOT be withdrawn, redeemed, sold, gifted, or exchanged for money or anything of value; (d) CANNOT be transferred between accounts; (e) may be adjusted, expired, or revoked by us, and are forfeited if your account is closed. Coins may also be granted free of charge in-game (for example your starting balance, daily rewards, and achievements); free coins are subject to the same rules. We may change coin prices, amounts, and mechanics at any time. You never "own" coins, and buying coins does not create any real-money balance. The in-app "Cash Out" action only converts an open vote back into virtual coins; it never pays money.
Game data: coins, XP, Rating, ranks, leaderboard positions, achievements, statistics, and all other game data are part of the game, not assets. They are owned by us, have no monetary value, and are licensed to you on the same limited, revocable, non-transferable basis as coins; closing or terminating an account ends this license. Your rights under data-protection law (such as access, erasure, and portability of your personal data) are unaffected — but they do not create ownership of, or any right to compensation for, coins or game data.
Coins may be purchased with real money only through the Apple App Store or Google Play, using their in-app purchase systems and subject to their terms. We do not accept any other payment method for coins. Prices are shown before purchase. Purchasing coins is a purchase of a limited license to a digital in-game item, delivered immediately.
Refunds & EU right of withdrawal: Coins are delivered instantly on purchase. If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases; by completing a coin purchase and receiving the coins immediately, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose that 14-day withdrawal right once the coins are delivered. Store-level refunds (Apple/Google) are handled by the store under its own policy. Except where the law requires otherwise, coin purchases are final and non-refundable.
You may not sell, buy, trade, or transfer coins or accounts outside Pantora; use bots, automation, multiple accounts, or exploits; or manipulate outcomes or leaderboards. Doing so may result in coin removal and account termination.
Any attempted sale, rental, trade, gift, or transfer of coins, accounts, or game data outside Pantora — whether for money or anything of value — is void and a material breach of these Terms. We may, without notice or compensation, void the coins or accounts involved, reverse related gameplay, and permanently ban the participants, and we may report commercial-scale trading to the relevant platforms or authorities.
You may choose a username and optionally upload a profile photo and other profile details ("your content"). You must have the right to use what you upload. You may not impersonate any person, or upload content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringes someone else's rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display your content within Pantora for as long as your account exists. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
Pantora — its design, code, branding, and original content — is owned by us or our licensors. Names — and, where shown, brand logos — of real-world events, teams, people, companies, products, and organizations appear in Pantora only to identify the events being predicted; we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them. Some market images and logos are sourced from third parties (for example Wikimedia Commons and other public-domain or freely licensed sources) and are used under their respective licenses, with attribution shown in the app where the license requires it. If you believe any content in Pantora infringes your rights — including copyright, trademark, or image/likeness concerns — contact support@pantora.app and we will review it and, where appropriate, remove it promptly.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping it secure. We may suspend or terminate any account, and remove coins, for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or manipulation, or where required by law or the app stores. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features, markets, or the service itself at any time. Some markets or features may be unavailable in your country, and Pantora is currently not offered in the United States. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app and require re-acceptance.
Restricted jurisdictions: Pantora is not offered in the United States or in other jurisdictions we restrict from time to time (reflected in the app stores where Pantora is available). You may not use VPNs, proxies, false location or country information, or any other means to access Pantora from a restricted jurisdiction or to disguise where you access it from. If you do, you act entirely at your own risk: you are solely responsible for compliance with your local laws, the account may be terminated and its coins forfeited, and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability arising from access we did not offer in your jurisdiction.
Your agreement is with us, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for Pantora or its content and have no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or any warranty for it, beyond any refund duty that cannot be waived. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Pantora is provided "as is" for entertainment. To the maximum extent permitted by law: we disclaim all warranties; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses; and our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to Pantora is limited to the greater of (a) EUR 50 and (b) the amounts you paid us for coins in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This cap does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, to death or personal injury, or to any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including your statutory consumer rights).
Indemnification: to the maximum extent permitted by the law of your country of residence, you will indemnify and hold harmless Pantora and its operator, officers, and staff from claims, damages, fines, and reasonable legal costs brought by a third party or authority arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms — including accessing Pantora from a restricted jurisdiction or buying or selling coins or accounts outside Pantora; (b) your content; or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right. This does not limit your mandatory consumer rights and does not apply to claims caused by our own fault.
If you have a problem, please contact us first at support@pantora.app — most issues can be resolved informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the mandatory consumer-protection rules, or of the jurisdiction of the courts, of your country of residence; for all other users, the courts of Greece have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. Sections 4, 6, 10, 12 and 13 survive the closure or termination of your account.
